Don't quote me but I think they are volunteers who do rehab and other support related activities.

I'm putting together a Pierce Delivery List, from the years 2000-2008. Can someone post the Job #'s, Year, Pump, Tank, Foam Tank, And where the unit is assigned to? I know there are quite a few Pierces in LA.
Thanks

It has a set of brow lights on the front, new NFPA hose covers, newer body configuration, and a TFT remote deckgun

Great photos from everyone! A group of us will be in the LA area from 9/11 through 9/16 on a buffing tour. The LAFD stations that I have tentatively scheduled us to visit are: 27, 37, 41, 43, 59, 84, 88, 90 and 92. I am also looking at 5, 51, 80, and 95, but am concerned about access since these are all at/near LAX. We are also planning to stop at Van Nuys, and I have the same security concerns there also, especially since our timing puts us right around 9/11.
For those of you who have been to any of these stations, are there any we should avoid simply because it's tough to photograph there due to busy area and/or lack of a ramp? I have been to LA twice before, but all the LAFD stations I have been to I have been to as part of an organized tour, so everything was ready when the group arrived. I have shot a lot of LACOFD stuff, all as part of random unannounced stops, and have never had a problem getting the crews to place the apparatus. County stations tend to be in lesser congested area with larger ramps, and I am just curious if the City crews are as accomodating to unannounced buffs. Just looking for some general advice, so any help that any of you who have shot LAFD can provide will be greatly appreciated. Please reply here, PM me here, or email as you feel appropriate. Thanks!
