Yeap! Both were live as well. My dad remembers that little wagon. Said that thing had some power under its hood. Diamond T's "National Design Award' winning version came out in early 1953, by 1954, IH and Diamond T had a deal to share this cab, which was actually made by the Chicago Manufacturing Co. Diamond T used the cab into the 60's, while IH used it until 1972.

While I recall seeing the rig sitting by the side of the road as a teenager, badly faded(I thought it had been painted blue, not green), I never photographed it. I think the aerial looks like a Seagrave, however. Also, The "Ford C Cab" was designed and manufactured by the Budd Company, and was used by several truck makers, including Mack, which termed it the N model, which was produced from the late 1950's into the early 1960's. Mike -

Do you show any others like this From EFD going to Rartian Twp Fire Co around 1974-76? My Dad said they bought one. It did not fit the station and was eventually sold off.



I thought it was Brenton Woods - it was a shade of green he thought.

Much like the tanker my company bought many moons ago, maybe Scott or Mike know which one Im talking about. I believe we bought it but 1)It wouldn't fit and 2)Twp wouldn't insure it. Long ago..
