The members of the NJ Metro Fire Photographers Association were treated to a photo shoot prior to their monthly meeting this past Sunday in Ridgefield. Big thanks to the Ridgefield & Ridgefield Park Fire Departments for bringing down their apparatus for us to photograph. The Bogota Engine is now privately owned by NJMFPA club member & Bogota Firefighter Larry Rovak. Hopefully it will be making the rounds to musters & parades in NJ !
Additional photos of these NJ rigs can be found on my website: http://www.BrianDuddy.com/g/nj Ex-Bogota Engine 401 - 1981 American LaFrance Ridgefield Park Engine 1 - 1984 Mack CF Bergen County Fire Academy Engine 987 Loaned to Ridgefield - Ex-Orange County, FL - 1992 Spartan Ridgefield Engine 2 - 1997 KME Ridgefield Engine 3 - 2001 Pierce Quantum Ridgefield Engine 4 - 1989 Pierce Arrow Ridgefield Tanker 5 - 1988 International - Ex-Port Authority Of NY/NJ Tunnel Washer Ridgefield Truck 1 - 1998 Spartan/LTI 93' T/L Ridgefield Rescue 2 - 2008 Sutphen/SVI
I am sooooo relieved to learn that Bogota's ALF is in the hands of someone who can appreciate it and will preserve it for years to come!
Any word on the disposition of the Mack?
That Bogota ALF is a great looking rig.

I could be wrong but I think Larry paid just over $4,000 for it.
That bites! Well, at least one of 'em got saved. $4G is not a bad price, either.
