Here's one more picture that I forgot to post with the others last night.

Look, you're missing the outrigger on your side, but you get a free section of hose. You even get a mis-matched set of ladders. What a great assortment of equipment you're making out with on this deal. Can you feel the love?

All we need to do now is find out what the deal was with L-4582 and transform the little, red ALF into it. Can you imagine a pack of three Gray Ghosts? Wow.

At this rate, we'll have to name the garage "Marion Sub-Station 3½." <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

I'll get back on topic now.

Here are a couple of pictures from the PPPSI Annual Muster in July 2003. I'm sure you remember the nice 1966 American LaFrance 900 Series Quint you were following on your way out of the muster grounds that day, too. The owner of that Quint was, as usual, enthralled with Gray and had to have her picture taken with it, again!

You're supposed to be making phone calls, not playing online. Tsk, tsk. Just kidding.

We can always have our own muster in the K-Mart parking lot. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

It's all fun and games until the kid decides she really does want that bumper off of the parts truck after all.

I'd post a picture of Ole Gray, but we haven't had it out yet ... Yet! The bumper is going on its ladder truck counterpart, though, so, I suppose this counts as a legitimate picture for this topic. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

Bell bottoms, Dingo boots and a perm-can't get much more "old school" than that!

I am surprised a picture this old is actually in color.

Shoot, Lindsay, it was only 1981. Of course, I was still a twinkle in my parents' eyes. The memories I do have from the 1980s don't include bell bottoms and boots, thank goodness. There's more 'fro than Fire Engine in that picture! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Lol' />

Not a problem, John. It's marked as a 1965 Maxim with a 1000 G.P.M. Pump and a 300 G.W.T.

Because I know you miss us when we're not here ...

And because I'll be gone for three months at Boot Camp ...

And because Patrick will be half a world away ...

Here's the picture of you, me, the brother, and the 1948 ALF from when we were at the Texas Fire Museum on Thursday.

Until I return, take care of our old Fire Trucks. I'll miss you, and I love you.

We certainly will keep an eye on the future "Big Gray" while you are doing your patriotic duty.

All of us in Texas and around the country will miss you on the board and will hold that good thought for you.
