Southington has been has a hard core competitor in the parades and their 1990 Pierce has the trophies to prove it, in talking with of their guys, this is the last year they are going to try so hard - hence the lettering that says: farewell tour under all their titles.
They're gonna have to find some more room as they took the trophy for BEST APPEARING APPARATUS again.

All fires will go out; and all bleeding will stop - eventually.
Hey Hoss, you forgot one thing, the sign that say "It's good with wood!" I know the guys from Plantsville and they do a great job witht he truck. Plus this rig see a lot of fire too (without the wood of course). Sad to see E-T 22 go off the parade circut but she's getting up in age.
But this year's best unit should have been the "T-Hab" unit!! (inside joke for all the CT Convention goers!!)
Hey look its me standing on the left side fo the truck that morning! I was driving F-11 that day and it was a pleasure to meet you and anytime you are down here, stop in. You are more than welcome!
