Demarest's 1948 Mack, a little blurry
Is this the same antique Mack from Demarest that was heavily damaged when a fire destroyed the Mack service center in Elmwood Park a few years ago? At the time they thought that one could never be repaired? Or did they have two?

Demarest acquired this Mack from Shreveport, LA a few years back, and had it restored. The VIN number is only 26 or so off from the one that was lost in the fire, which is as close as they're going to get to replacing that one.
