They used to. I believe the NYPD's 19th Precinct, which is next door, occupies the top 2 or 3 floors.

accidentally ran into this but this is know where they keep all decon stuff for repairs and clan up, also the decon support unit no longer responds from soc but here. I think 2 ff and 1 or 2 other soc members operate this 24/7.

Just started reading a book about the guys and history of this station. VERY cool book so far. It is call " The Last Men Out , life on the edge at rescue 2 firehouse "

In the book it says they took out the pole . Does anyone know if they ever put it back or is it still gone. Is this common in the FDNY houses ? Thanks in advance Erik
