Here is the other antique the City of Brevard maintains. The guys at the station told me that back in the 1930s-1940s a historic inn caught fire just outside of Brevard and it was in such a remote area that this particular truck was hauled by rail car to the fire.

Sad to see Newell close...I guess I should have swiped my helmet when I left in 09....Any idea who is getting their apparatus?

Not sure who is getting the apparatus. The board of directors are taking applications and whoever wins the apparatus will take delivery on October 1st according to Newell's website.



Yesterday, Andrew and I got to shoot a bunch of rigs, including 2 parades and a few other stops. I shot somewhere around 80 rigs and Andrew shot quite a bit more because he shoots ambulances, pickups, chiefs rides, etc and I do not. Here is one of the trucks I shot and had time to edit. Expect more shots from both of us in the next few days.
