The HazMat Support Unit is a 1988 Ford F800 with a Buyers stake body. As you can see, it used to be Tanker 12.

Great photos as usual. Thanks for sharing them.

A couple of questions if I may about Fairview (York County Station #68).

Is Engine 68-2 the same rig that was once yellow?

What happened to the old Pierce Lance that was Rescue 68?

If this is the same department, did they paint their relatively new KW tanker to match the new department color scheme?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Larry, I'm not sure what you're referring to here. Are you possibly replying to a different post?

Thanks Jim, we actually drove through John's Crick but didn't have time to stop. We'll save that for another trip.

Quote:We also shot a bunch of other rigs yesterday. Here is Forsyth County's Sutphen Deluge/Clay 1250/1000 Pumper as Reserve Engine 13. It bears Sutphen #H53114 and Clay #0995039. We could not locate a year.

Just a little typo on that number, it should be HS-3114. It's a 1996 and was originally Engine 8. I'm pretty sure the tank holds 750 gallons, not 1000.

Quote:Well, yesterday, Andrew Messer and I, went in search of this rig in Forsyth County, GA. It's formerly from Griffin, GA and is a beautiful 1937 Pirsch 55' ladder truck.

Serial Number 1022.

It isn't my fault that some of y'all can't read your own writing there Mark <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> My notes say precisely HS-3114

We had a really good trip, and yes, for those of you who know me, I got to shoot about 15 ambulances. Also the ALF/Clay engine you posted carries ALF Cab # F11263. For those of you that have got to shoot the Pirsch Aerial from Forsyth County, you can appreciate how beautiful that truck really is. I was amazed how well-kept it was!
