Anyone know anything about this rig? It is a slide I came across. No photographer name on the slide.

Thanks guys!
Howie the Mack that went to St Joseph's was a former FDNY rig that was designated as the Cassion unit for LOD funerals. It never saw any fire duty.
It was assigned to the Chauffer school for admin purposes only, but not used for training.

Here's Lowell's E-3 Using the front suction at an all hands fire last night on Monarch St. An almost never seen occurance in Lowell. Nice work Capt! Sorry about the quality as this was taken with the spare POS Kodak Camera. I got this 1 picture before the battery died
Melrose Engine 3 at work in Lynn, Saturday November 28, 1981 at the 10th Alarm Lynn Box 414 struck for 264-266 Broad Street. This fire was a "conflagration" and ultimately involved some 26 buildings....

Direct from our intranet page, Lowell's new Pierce L4 on its first stop at HQ from the factory. Dirty from the road and no spec. details, but here's a first look. It goes to the dealership for some last minute outfitting of tools and cabinets. It should be back to begin operator training in about two weeks. Photo courtesy of LFD MIS division.
