Thanks "Shoe" I googled it before and didn't get anything other than an article, but caught something this time.

I used to climb on this one too when I was a kid. Not as much as the 1950 open cab 700 ALF at Tiltonsville.
I saw in an eariler post that there was going to be an Open House at the museum on June 8th. Does anyone know if there are going to be any other "openings" over the summer? I wanted to travel up there to see it for myself and can't make it on the 8th. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Unfortunately, from what I heard...no. I was there yesterday and it was pretty cool. As is typical with small town politics, they would not give them a "Certificate of Occupancy" so you were not able to into the warehouse and see the entire collection. They pulled a decent number of trucks outside, most of the runs that were easy to get in/out and were in running condition, and they were pretty cool to look at. Could have used a bath after all the dust that collects on them inside, but that would have taken a long time to do. I will try to add some photos later when time permits. I am assuming some other contributors to the site were there as well.

We all know this one from the 1st auction appearantly the bidder fell through and the auctioneer sold it at the 2nd auction 1969 Mack CF-600 Pumper Monarch VFD Fair condition Red 6 cyl Gas 19166K VIN CF608F1040 Bidder 92 $2080.00
Who owns this engine? Apparently it had a blown cylinder. I was wondering where it is.
As with all of the units described here I posted the VIN number as described by the auctioneer in the lititure.
I do believe that his intentions were to build and display in a museum. As for the number he purchased which I think was in excess of 300 fire engines and 250+ calssic cars and 50+ misc other vehicles and construction equip. - I HAVE NO CLUE!
I was there for both viewings. I was told by a fire chief that sold their engine to him that he gave them cash for it and asked for a receit so he could show it as a donation and use it as a write-off. I was told that he always had a fasination with firetrucks and wanted to collect many and make a museum.
