How about some senic shots?
True.

Ed what type of camera are you using? The last shot you had was very good.
A very beat up Canon Rebel XT - which has shot about 35,000 frames since I got it 12/24/06 been in about a half dozen live burns, its been out there with me in below zero and extreme heat - really nice days and and really crappy ones. Not bad for a camera that I really didn't like all that much at first.

My wife actually bought me a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50 which seems like a great camera and almost as good as the old F-707 I started my serious digital shooting with, but she had me go to Best Buy to "try it on" - it seemed to be much more plastic and cheaply made than previous Sony Cameras I've handled - I can't believe it, but I had her send it back. Thinking after the new year - maybe going to a Sony D-SLR.

That shot did have a little Photoshop sharpening applied.

Here's one using MY DSC-H50. I still prefer the Rebel though.

Taken a month ago, the backyard of my station.

Absolutely beautiful sunset...just what I needed today during this dismal snowstorm and the forecast of subzero HIGH temperatures on the horizon. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />

How cold was it? This was taken at approximately the same time as the Buffalo Grove train derailment (though I didn't hear sirens so it was likely only MINUTES before it happened).

Norfolk Road, in Southfield, Mass. near the Connecticut state line. FWIW there's been a lot of human activity (I've photographed fawns and coyotes in this same field) in this area lately, supposedly they are ONLY doing some logging or digging a big rock out of the field, but have heard rumors of a sub-division possibly going in <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Angry' /> .

This location is about 1.75 miles from my house as the crow flys and about 3 miles by road.
