"Always a Favorite FDNY Eng-274 and Chicago Truck-9"
How did you get them together!?!
Four appliances from Crewe Fire Station in Cheshire, North West England. From left to right a DAF damage control unit, Mercedes hazardous materials unit, a Dennis Sabre pump and a Mercedes Atego pump.

Two of these pictures were posted in the Scottsbluff Fire Department thread but I thought that I would go ahead and post them here along with one of the first two Engines that the City of Scottsbluff Fire Department ever owned.
Old Engine 1 and 2 the picture was taken in the 20's
I wanted to add something, the equipment of the years gone by was small and it wasn't nearly as good as the equipment we have today. I have to say that although they did not face some of the issues and challenges that firefighter do today they did a great job. The had to and in my oppinion they were and always will be super firefigher because they were not protected the way we are today. But like I said that is just my opinion.
Group shot I got today while the guys were washing the trucks at our station.
