Was this the way this tiller was delivered, with a roof only for the engineer and officer? I have never seen a CF cab configured this way.

Shoop, Oakmont was solid Mack for years. They had a an L-Model sedan, not sur of the year. I think it went to Cal Little years ago. They also had a C-Model that went to Verona, the community next to them. The CF engines were sold, not sure where they went. The scope was in fact refurbed by Interstate and it had a new cab installed. This was the very last CF cab made. Interstate Mack bought all remaining CF cabs from Mack when production was ceased. The Oakmont scope is a very beautiful rig

Found this old truck behind a house near Stanley, NC today. It was lettered for Palmetto Rural FD which is in Darlington County, SC. I didn't get any info off the truck other than it had a Panama Fire Apparatus plate on it also.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was a tanker judging from the size of the pump intake and hard suction size.

Wow, that's pretty bizzare, you folks down in NC have got more snow on the ground than we do here in WNY right now, now that's really bizzare, and what's even wierder is that it's supposed to hit 50 to 60 tomorrow here, with possibility of rain, go figure. Nice shot of an old relic, which looks like it could be restored with some TLC, wish I had the dough to own it.

Here in Central Square, as of yesterday our ground is still pretty much covered, of coarse atfer today that shoud be a different story!

This rig is an extremely rare tractor-drawn quint. As I recall, it was built around 1956 or so. I hope it has been relocated to a better storage place.

Supposedly they had been stored in a warehouse on the property untill a fire. As the department was fighting the fire at one end of the building, these trucks were being drug out the other. A friend of mine in Quincy said that they had been sitting in the open for several years.

What kind of siren is that on the front of the Long Beach Mack CF? I've only seen those kinds of sirens on West Coast rigs.
