Engine 1's Hahn was transferred to Engine 3, replaced with a 76 Seagrave, Engine 2's Hahn was transferred to Engine 5 when Engine 2 was disbanded around 1982, and Engine 8 was replaced with a 76 Seagrave and the Hahn was transferred to Engine 6

The 85 Hahn was transferred to Engine 2 (former Engine 7 & Engine 9) when Engine 8 was disbanded, and later transferred to Engine 3 when Engine 2 was replaced with a 92 Pierce Telesqurt

A rare circa 1929 Hahn built at the Selden Allentown Plant.

This truck was refirbed and is for sale, $25,000

Located in Waco Tx.

I know this trucks was from the Delaware Valley area, but guess what, NO ID! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Banghead' />

I can not understand why some one would remove the ID from this truck.

I may have been possible to sell it if someone knew the origional ownerof this truck.

A few of these rigs are unaccounted for in the Hahn list's

Just when I thought there were no more Hahn's to be found in Arizona, I found one today. Before I post anything, does anyone have any good photos (will also post this in the request section) of Engine 182 Company 8 from Middletown Township, NJ???

Thanks

Frank,

This is the one (post 1096) - THANKS!!! It now serves the Evergreen Maintenance facility in Marana, Az. This facility is part of the Pinal Airpark with the adjacent Silverbell Army Depot.

Evergreen modify's various aircraft for various reasons which I don't know, but currently their claim to fame is the development of the 747 supertanker which we did see.

The Silverbell Army facility is a Apache Helicopter training base literally in the middle of the desert not near anything else that not only trains other countries in use of the Apache (British & Singapore are currently there) but is a federal law enforcement training facility.

I'll post the photos soon. Have a funeral to attend. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Sad' />

Thanks again -David

FWIW, this is the engine that NBC's Brian Williams rode when he was a member of Old Village in the late 70's.

The Town of Marana, Az is just north of Tucson along I-10.

We had special arrangements made for photography with the military and Evergreen, so I don't know if someone could just drive up and ask to take pictures. Signs are posted everywhere "no photography" or "no cameras allowed." Evergreen is also a vol/combo industrial type FD. All members do other work until called for an emergency.
