Thanks Nick, I was there for the services for Brad. I stood at the head of his casket that Friday evening at the funeral home for the services, and attended and was part of the funeral. I did not remember the Sutphen. Again, thanks.

No I did not. Our department honor guard provides services all over western PA for line of duty deaths. This one was an extremely tough one. I stood at the head 3 different times that evening. Some day when we can get together I will explain.

This doesn't really count as fire apparatus, but it is definetely something that you don't see everyday.

Willow Street Fire Company was running this Simon-Duplex/?? Engine as Engine 5-12-1 when I visited them in 2003 on one of my many roadtrips for my work. Not sure if it is still in service or not.

Willow Street was also running this ??? as Engine 5-12-2 when I visited them in 2003. I have no idea if this rig is still in service there.

North Irwin sold the squirt down south when they bought the W. Homestead engine.



Westmoreland City's engine was built by Ferrara, and was sold to make room for their new sutphen engine.
