Here is a better picture of Belmont, NC's former Engine 431 posted several pages back. It currently serves as a training engine at Gaston College Regional Training Center.
Found a few pics for this category tonight, so here they are. First up is this Ford C/? Tanker which formerly served the Caughdenoy,NY (Oswego County) FD. I took this pic in 2003 in a construction truck lot in Henrietta,NY. The rig was used for water by the construction company, but a few weeks after I took the pic, it went up for sale, and disappeared about a week later, with no idea as to where it disappeared to.
Caughdenoy's Ford tanker was in service from the time it was new ( 1978 or 9 ) until the mid-late 90's. It was a Sanford and also had a small capacity pump. It was housed at their west side station untill it was replaced by a Cjhevy Kodiak/4 Guys tanker. It was sold to the owners of the Brewerton Speedway and used for watering the track for a year or so before it disapeared from the area.

Jeff, nice pic of the Hy-View heavy rescue! That truck has notr been in service since January 2003. They traded it in for a 2002 Pierce Dash Rescue pumper. Here is some information on Hy-View's old Rescue 7: 1986 Ford F-700 with a 14 foot walk in rescue box manufactured by EVF. The Hy- View fire company is located in Cheektowaga, NY

This old Ford / Howe is sitting behind a house just outside of Alexis, NC in Gaston County. The owner of the truck said he bought the truck at a used car lot in Charlotte, NC, but could not remember where the truck originally came from.

This one is still sitting in the same lot beside the Branch Volunteer Fire Department's Station. It's been moved since last September, but I still couldn't get a good picture of the "correct" side.

If I had to guess, going by the unit number 584, I would say Rush NY. It's in Monroe County.

yeah it looks like Rush, NY. According to their website, it was owned by the State of New York, and returned to them in 2008. Here is a link to their site that mentions it: http://www.rushfd.org/history.htm. Also in the 'classic pictures' section their is a similar unit all the way to the left side of the photo.

Ed,

Where is Bloomsbury's old Dodge/Hahn for sale at? I'm e-mailing a friend of mine who is on Bloomsbury Hose Co these pictures. They may want to buy the truck or find out where it's going to.

Thanks for your help.

I seen a news feature on this rig, the hose bed area is a fully operational pizza oven, the owner wanted to be able to have a moble unit so he could enjoy cooking his pizza, and the outdoors at the same time... seems like a great idea to me.

The truck is located in Lanesborough, MA @ http://www.villagetrucksales.com/ they are generally way over priced in my opinion, of course this truck is not listed on their website.
