Caughdenoy's Ford tanker was in service from the time it was new ( 1978 or 9 ) until the mid-late 90's. It was a Sanford and also had a small capacity pump. It was housed at their west side station untill it was replaced by a Cjhevy Kodiak/4 Guys tanker. It was sold to the owners of the Brewerton Speedway and used for watering the track for a year or so before it disapeared from the area.

This old Ford / Howe is sitting behind a house just outside of Alexis, NC in Gaston County. The owner of the truck said he bought the truck at a used car lot in Charlotte, NC, but could not remember where the truck originally came from.

This one is still sitting in the same lot beside the Branch Volunteer Fire Department's Station. It's been moved since last September, but I still couldn't get a good picture of the "correct" side.

If I had to guess, going by the unit number 584, I would say Rush NY. It's in Monroe County.

yeah it looks like Rush, NY. According to their website, it was owned by the State of New York, and returned to them in 2008. Here is a link to their site that mentions it: [url="http://www.rushfd.org/history.htm"]http://www.rushfd.org/history.htm[/url]. Also in the 'classic pictures' section their is a similar unit all the way to the left side of the photo.

I seen a news feature on this rig, the hose bed area is a fully operational pizza oven, the owner wanted to be able to have a moble unit so he could enjoy cooking his pizza, and the outdoors at the same time... seems like a great idea to me.

Found this cool engine next to a fire station in Mystic, Ct last week. It is in great shape and totally hooked up...taps, compressed air, a flat panel TV in the officer side jump seat...no one was around so I just snapped these and boogied...no idea what or where it is from.

The truck is located in Lanesborough, MA @ [url="http://www.villagetrucksales.com/"]http://www.villagetrucksales.com/[/url] they are generally way over priced in my opinion, of course this truck is not listed on their website.
