Dodge Chargers

San Diego County Sheriff. I'm not sure what type of emergency lighting it will have, it's still in the process of being outfitted.
Amen, brother! And shame on those responsible for destroying over 200 irreplaceable '69 Chargers for the "Dukes of Hazzard" TV series ...
A lot of the TV show was filmed on my friend's Danny Ogburn's grandfather's ranch in the Hidden Valley/Lake Sherwood area right near my house. It's the area where the Sherwood Country Club is now. (Got to go to the "Boar's Nest" once, although it's just an emtpy facade. They filmed TONS of stuff out there) The producers of DoH would drive through neighborhoods looking for Dodge Chargers and offer the owners cash on the spot for thier cars to supplement the filming. I remember there was a chained lot on his ranch with about 15 "General Lees" parked in it. Wish I had a camera back then, but I was like 10 years old. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Oddly enough, my mom is good friends with John Scheinder, (Super Nice guy, got some really neat DoH memoribila from him) and the orignal cast and producers were shafted by the people doing the movie, so I refuse to ever see it becuase of what they did to the franchise. Quote:However, i have my personal opinions that Dodge should never have re-introduced the Charger as a four door sedan. It takes away fromthe muscle car name. Which is what drove Dodge to develop the Challenger. I've seen a custom chop job that made a newCharger into a two door. Pretty cool.

How do the Chargers compare price wise to the CVC and the Impala cars? They must be more expensive than the Impalas.

Yes looks like the latest version of a license plate reader. I don't remember the manufacturer name.
Bob
Retired and still a tax payer.
THanks Bob. I haven't seen one in use yet. I don't think there are any departments in my county that have it yet.
Scott
Yup, that one in particular is known as the "PlateHunter" the same one NYSP uses...
