Texas Emergency Medical Servies
Thanks for the photos, John! Sharp looking ambulance!

Seems like Wheeled Coach is pushing the Dodge chasis for their Type I's as much as they can......FDNY has ordered 56 Wheeled Coaches on a 4 door Dodge chasis, and there is a rumor that LAFD may order their next batch on a Dodge chasis (which will be a switch from Type III's to Type I's) as well......

Seth,

Thanks Seth, and that's all very interesting...I had heard the "rumor" about Wheeled Coach getting a large FDNY order but was never able to confirm it. I'll be surprised if LAFD changes to type I's so I guess we'll have to "stay tuned" as they say <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

According to Fire Apparatus Journal. FDNY has signed a 3 year contract with Wheeled Coach and have placed an order for 56 Dodge Ram 4500's on the year 1 order. They should look pretty different than the present FDNY ems vehicles as there is a rumor that they will be on a 4 door crew cab chassis.
