Terry,

Thanks for the posting the Stockton rig. I saw pix of this under construction, and was excited to see the "finished package." I'll be headed to the Eastern Shore to get this one for "shore". (pun intended...)
I seen the construction pictures as well and when I heard it was at Singers I decided to take the 2 hour trip to Delaware instead of the 4 hour trip to Stockton. I wish the sky would have been clear but they turned out well enough.

Has SVI ever built an engine before? That Darlington rig is unique. I'm suprised they didn't put at least a few hundred feet of supply line somewhere.

The gentleman at the station said that they had but I thought I had heard this was going to be the first. As for the hose there was certainly room for it but as he said it is a rescue with a pump, not a rescue engine.

The Stockton rig was delivered last Saturday and equipment is being added pretty much every day since, they hope to have it service before the end of the month. It has also been sighted south of the border a few times.........

I'll give you one guess and they already have 2 of them ! From the drawing it will be similar to the other engine, little different compartment layout and a 2250gpm pump and it is due in around the end of September along with Glyndon's around the beginning of October.

I shot this 2009 Pierce Arrow XT 105' PUC quint today which is the first one that I have seen since they expanded the PUC line to all their aerials. I have to say that I was slightly disappointed that there didn't seem to any difference in the overall length of the truck though you do get one extra compartment on the officer side of the truck.
