A few notes on two posts. Post #5845 - Liberty Hose Company No. 1 of Williamstown, the Mack engine is still in service at Williamstown. To answer your question on any information on the builder "General Fire". With consulting the "Illustraed Encyclopedia of American Fire Engine Manufacturers" by Walter M. P. McCall, shows the following entry : General Fire Equipment Company - Spokane, Washington (1957-Current). They are a Rosenbauer American dealer. They build wildland and skid type fire apparatus on commercial chassis.
