That's not Aviation's firehouse. Aviation was miles away from there. This pic is of the Throggs Neck Ambulance building which is next to Engine 72 on East Tremont Ave. They are still in business and their quarters are not deteriorated. Aviation's house was a small garage on Gildersleeve Ave off White Plains Rd. that was completely falling apart. Last I heard it was bulldozed.
