Scott,

I know that one.

Bruce

1964 Ford C-750/Bruco, full cab, custom enclosed walk-in rescue body, 22 exterior compartments, two full length bench seats in body which converted into two 6 ft beds, 15 KW PTO generator, 351 CI gas motor, 5-speed manual transmission, originally purchased by Garrettford-Drexel Hill (Delaware County, PA). it is still in service it is due to be replaced with a KME in the near future.

theunknowncomic, say it isn't so, Freeland is NOT buying a Seagrave? Wow!!!!. Engine 53 was always one of my favorites. Freeland has always kept their apparatus in immaculate condition. Spotless clean and hose always packed neatly, and......very, very well equipped I might add.
Reply
one reason why freeland is going with KME this time is,it's due to the fact of how close KME is to there.

The Mount Penn ALF, was refurbed in house with the addition of a tiller enclosure which was torn off of a trailer from Reading Ladder 3. The Trailer had been in a junk yard on 5th street for years, when Mount Penn went and made an offer on the enclosure. A 3 vessel cascade system was also added to the trailer, as well as flip down seating in the jump seat area, which I brought from the Ono Fire Company in Lebanon County.
