Noticed that Round Rock has an Impel Chassis pumper ready for delivery at the factory, job #22613... I understand they are to be at the factory on Monday 02/15 for final inspection.
2009/2010 In house conversion by RRFD shops and TRT members.
This is a work in progress, they are constantly adding equipment and making modifications as they can in house. One of the major items in the conversion was the removal of the pump, tank, and hosebed, freeing up a TON of space. I will have more in depth photos and detail later this weekend.

Special thanks to the members of the RRFD TRT!

Thanks for posting. Glad to see them keep a classic Seagrave. Neat idea to make it a Rescue Company, it looks great. I wanted to ask you mentioned earlier last year they were selling R-Engine 1. Did it not sell or were the bids low. Anyway great job. Is Truck 4 still at Fire House 4 I noticed a Quint 4 now. Is RRFD still running Two Truck Companies?
PS Tell the TRT guys to replace the Executor Siren with a REAL Federal Q Siren.

Truck 4 is now a spare housed at Station 4. Quint 4 is running from Station 4. Truck 4 is RRFD's only spare ladder and is a TL though.
I was incorrect, the sold the other older Seagrave reserve engine....they just did a complete inspection of this apparatus to make sure it was structurally and mechanically sound before deciding to keep it, amongst some other factors. The TRT team members convinced the brass that they'd be able to convert it at a low cost and this apparatus was perfect for the conversion..
As far as the siren goes, lol, I'm sure if they can get there hands on one used for free they'll take it, but until then they continue to toil away making other improvements to this apparatus, some I will detail in a photo spread later this weekend. Stay tuned.
So the reserve TL is the rig formerly Sam Bass T01, then T04 correct?
Now a stupid question. Do you have a run down of what companies run from what stations? I got way confused with the the mini-rescues and where they were moved to, etc.

That is correct the reserve ladder was Truck 4 Ex-Sam Sass Bass Truck 1.
