Are the Mack L's Boston pieces?

They are. Engine 25 is shown with the old John Fitzgerald Expressway in the background. Their former quarters were on Oliver Street about a block from the Expressway before they were disbanded back in 1981-82. Engine 10 appears to be on the "Flat" of Beacon Hill which is where they were quartered until they moved when Engine 25 was closed into their old house.

Thanks, I now see the License plate.
This was marked as FDNY. I will change my photo information.
Funny that FDNY also had very similar rigs! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/banghead.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I post this last one only because its a former FDNY - I'm told it was used at the training academy as a driver, then as a funeral caisson before being sold to St. Joseph's Abbey in Spencer, MA.

Just curious What are the covers over the Siren Speaker for? Ive noticed them on most of the FDNY Mack's. Thanks in advance. Rick

I remember hearing (or reading) a while back that there was a time when the local population in inner city areas were unscrewing the speaker cones while the rigs were on scene - the metal screen was added to prevent that. I don't remember where this info came from, or if it's correct, but hey, it's what I got.
