Yes I am friends with their now retired Fire Marshal Gary Bowker. They were a great group and mentioned that a Fire Captain had taken the Chiefs job in Ozark.
Does Nixa still have the Snorkel or did Ozark purchase it? I love Lambert's great food.

Truck 15 is assigned to Fire House 36 with Pumper 36 and Car 107
Cool photos !!!!![/quote]
I knew that. It was a typo, I was looking at my picture of station 36 right before I wrote that. We were at Westport Flea Market and P19 ran a call across the street and I got a pick of the logo and it clearly says 7! Thanks for the corrected info
These fire houses are very clean. I have always been impressed with the pride displayed by the firemen of St. Louis. Each Fire House I have visited is always very clean with bright tile walls and with polished brass poles. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/luxhello.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
One of three new Fire House's being opened also 21,22. FH 21 opened on 06/28/2009 and FH 22 opens in the next two weeks. Wichita is in the process of phasing out the Squad concept so 20,21,22 all are single houses and share the same design. 20 and 22 are Engine's and 21 is a Quint. Eventually you will see Wichita return to Trucks and Engines.
Retired Wichita, Kansas Fire House No.8 built 1920
This fire house was closed in the 1950's and is now home to Jett Drive thru BBQ. Wichita Fire Department brings the recruits to tour this old fire house and then have lunch. It is four bays three front and one on the left side.
