According to the chief of Cross Anchor (who knows several guys from Woodruff and was a former member there), something fell through at the last minute with the purchase the Pete/Saulsbury from New Kensington. According to him, the town council initially was going to give them the money to buy it but in the end backed out. I have not been by Woodruff yet to confirm this however.
I was not aware of that, thanks for the info.
I'm sure the MD firepixers will recognize this truck. My camera doesn't do this rig justice because this is the brightest shade of orange I've ever seen.

Out and about again in Greenwood, SC. I Managed to get the whole fleet. Although some weren't positined for photography. There was a festival going on and There was a class as well. Only 2 guys in the bay changing lightbulbs.
First is the newest. Tower 1. a 2007 Sutphen 100' platform
Here is the truck it replaced. I know, the whole "BAD" angle thing here.
1973 American Lafrance
Greenwood Eng 341. 2003 Sutphen
These last 3 are real Beauties.
Greenwood Eng 334. 1982 American Lafrance
Greenwood 1973 American Lafrance
Greenwood 1967 Ford
The Greenwood FD. Is also restoring this old Silsby Steamer. Looks good so far.
Here are a few more from Spartanburg County,SC. Anyone that ever visits this area will find a lot of "buff friendly" FDs, but the big drawback is they love their Pierces and not much else. It seems like every dept has at least one Pierce, if not a whole fleet of them. Not bashing Pierce, but from a variety standpoint, it just gets boring shooting the same Pierce, just a different FD's name on the side.
