1957 B95 Mack 1000/300 ex Port Chester, NY engine 62. Engine complete as photo minus lettering and boots and coats.

So she really does look that good yet? I'm amazed that the twin siren lights survived all these years. Are you able to get your hands on any of Brooksville's red helmets? I always thought those made the rigs(and the guys) really stand out. Do you have any current pics you can post Angelo?

Here's more recent photo's just before both rigs came back to Port Chester. Both served side by side in New Hampshire.

Now side by side again in my barn.

Imagine having just walked in to that firehouse not knowing what was inside! When was that pic taken?Did you get both rigs back at the same time? Any idea what their "new" rigs are?

Picture of both rigs 1999. mack was replaced by 1998 International tanker with front mount 1250, and 2500 gallon tank, brought home fall of 2000, and the Ward was replaced by 2004? International same front mount but smaller body with large tank. brought ward home this past spring both rigs made by valley out of N.H.

So over 40 years of service for each HUH. Not too shabby. Like I said they don't look much worse for wear either. I feel good for the dept and the people up there to finally have modern rigs too.
