The paint scheme for Bernalillo County is a new one and very different from their previous paint scheme. This is Engine 2 which was replaced by Engine 32.

Commisioner

Nice pictures. Please post more. I was in the "Q" in March, I wish I had known there was a Firepixer Comissoner out there. I did get some apparatus pictures, but not that many it was actually raining. I did get to meet the infamous Pablo who showed us around a little.

Ash,

You said E2, E3 and E4 were replaced with rigs number E32, E33 and E34. Are they doing the same with the other companies as part of a county numbering system or something?

Thanks in advance.

All the other units in the County have already been switched to the new numbering system. The reason was after several occurrences of both Bernalillo County/Albuquerque working the same scene and the confusion caused by two units with the same number.

Makes me want to go visit my grandmother (lives in Albuquerque). Just wish I could afford to do so.

This next unit is not really new but it is to the County. It was previously Squad 2 for the city of Albuquerque and now has the new county paint scheme.

Do you have pictures of the 4X4 Pierce behind the fleet truck?

My immediate first thought on this rig was that it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree of Fire Engines. Poor thing.

I do not recall exactly which unit that was but I do have a picture of Engine 6 which is identical. The picture is a few years old from before I upgraded my camera so it is not the best..

This unit from Albuquerque is not new per say, but it is new to my collection as it has always been a very hard Engine company to catch up with...
