I know I have a crappy print of it someplace. At some point I will break out my old albums and pry out some of those prints for scanning.

From Wenham's recent Public Safety Day and Muster, an apparatus designation you do see much of around these parts "Tender 1" from Essex.

chelsea E3 a 1959 mack working at a the chelsea bottle fire on second st in the 1970's. i believe this was being used as a spare that day. it was made a reserve piece in 1971 just after E4'S pump was replaced and E4's 1956 mack was put in service as E3. the pic is part of slides that i have been transfering over to cd. unknown if the original photos were taken by the fire dept or another photograher.

It's being delivered to the firehouse tomorrow morning. I'm working a 24, I'll have my camera but I won't be able to post any shots until Saturday morning.

1951 Ford with a Lacey Body. It was re-placed in 1971 by a Chevey step van type that was still in service when I was appointed in August of 78.

Lacey is still in business located in Medford MA.

Arlington and Winchester also had rescues with Lacey bodies

This was a NICE little treat!
