Why does Chesapeak feel the need to have the unit numbers 3 times on each side of the pumpers?

If you count the smaller lettering just above the roll up compartment doors, it would be 4 times on each of the sides!

Before the Quantums started rolling in between 2005 and now, the unit number was on a rig only once or twice (middle window, and rear compartment door)

Im confused? From looking at City of Chesapeakes Fire Dept website they only list 15 stations. where are E24 & E28 going to be assigned? And does Chesapeake have any other Quantums on order?

Yes, that is correct on Eng-24 & 28. There are 5 more Quantum PUCs on the way. They should be in Richmond anytime now.

IIRC, they also have a Rehab Unit on order, a Pierce walk-in rescue body on an International(?) cab and chassis.

Does anyone have a current apparatus roster for Henrico County? I am going to be in the area next month for the race and was possibly thinking about stopping by some of the stations.

If anyone does have one it would be much appreciated. You can e-mail it to firebuffs@comcast.net or send me a private message. Thanks in advance.
