Quote:Wilkes-Barre Twp FC of Luzerne Co Eng 1 was this 1951 Seagrave. Did this become a Code 3 offering after the roof was painted white?

It was replicated by Corgi.

Summerhill Fire co. is located in Briar Creek Township, just outside Berwick, Columbia County. I'm not sure where this piece went, but I know they now run a newer KME pumper/tanker and a new brush truck.

Great pictures though, thank you. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yourock.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Yourock' />

The front half of this rig is a 1973 Brockway that was originally a pumper built by Ward LaFrance for the Covington Fire Co., in Daleville, PA. Later in life, it was mated to the back half of a 1958 IH VCO/American LaFrance 65'/750/200 that was originally in service in Endwell, NY, and then Montrose, PA. This was shot on August 12, 2009, outside the future Brockway Truck Museum, in Cortland, NY. Apologies for the background, but no one around, and impossible to have it moved for a better shot.

Plymouth Twp. Fire Co. No. 1 was closed last year and their FMC Pumper, Dodge Brush Truck, Ex-Dennison Twp. PA Tanker were all donated to Mt. Zion Fire Co. of Exeter Twp., Luzerne County. Being that Mt. Zion just purchased a new tanker, I imagine at least that part of it will be sold off, if not more. As for this particular engine, I'm not sure of the whereabouts.

This tanker was in service around the same time as the engine pictured. I have a picture of an older flat bed brush truck of theirs I will have to track down.

The private owner also had it re-lettered as "White House Hose Co. No. 3." The blue and white paint scheme matches his home, his garage, and the car port he keeps the engine parked in. I did have a picture of it but cannot find... I'll keep looking.
