Apparently this one is another prototype for Sutphen which was "never meant to be sold." Only two of them were ever made, and both of them were apparently sold somehow to the Norwich Twp FD of Hilliard, Ohio. Belmont bought this one used a few years ago and the Sutphen Corporation bought the other one back from Norwich Twp. Instead of levers on the pump panel, it was all switches which operate air-actuated valves on the discharges and the pump. This is all info from the guys at the FD that pulled the rigs out for us.

Seems like a lot of departments that start buying Sutphens keep buying them! Interestingly enough, Bridgewater, VA runs re-chassised tower that once ran in Norwich Twp, OH also.

First of all, a big thank you to GA_Dave for an awesome trip last Saturday! Dave had a great schedule planned out for us, and honestly, if it weren't for him, I couldn't have found half the stations we came across. The Lord blessed us with awesome weather! We only had to wait on passing clouds to clear up a handful of times. And we all made it there and back home safely.
