Those are Rescue Engines. In that part of the state Rescue Squads (rescue company rigs) are simply called "Squads". "Rescue Engine" is not yet part of common dispatch unit terminology.

I had the opportunity to join along with some other firepic members to visit Arlington last month.



Just a sampling of some of the apparatus.



Engine 102 is a 2006 E\-One Cyclone II 1250/750/30 with s/n 131941. This is one of the engines that was not replaced by the recent Pierce deliveries.

The Mass Casualty Support Unit is a 2006 International 4400/2007 Hackney that was part of a COG order where a variety of departments received one.

This was a nice find at the Falls Church Station, FS 6 in Arlington.



The Reserve Squad is a 2006 E\-One Cyclone II with s/n 131938. It was ordered new as a reserve squad.



It was being temporarily stored at FS 6.
