I like this truck even though the fire service tries to put to much on one vehicle at a time. The biggest problem with the truck was the lack of organization in the compartment layout.

Bridgeville,De. runs this Spartan/S&S tanker(3000 gal. I think) with Rear-steer floating tag axle.

A close up of the axle where the rear axle turns reducing turning radius and wear on the tires. These axles had problems on many trucks and many were switched out for standard rears.

Fredrick County Fire and Rescue has recently taken delivery of this 2009 Pierce Velocity 1500/500(?) rescue engine which will be station in New Market. Job# 21940.

Yes they do!! They are the Trolls!! The reason why is the station sits under a street bridge!! And yes it is a very nice rig!!
