Anyone know what happened to the 3rd and 4th door to this truck?

Harrisburg had two Mack CF engines and a rescue. The jump seat doors were removed in the summer to keep it cool.

The rear jump seat doors and even the windows were pulled off to help cool off the guys in the back. This was common on FDNY rigs during the 70's, and 80's too.

Does any one know how many of the Mack CF Tillers still exist? I know the one from Downey and the one from Oaklyn. Are there any others still out there?

Here is my small contribution to this thread. Thanks to Mike Martinelli & Gregory Stapleton for filling in some informational blanks. Not the best background, but sometimes you must take what you can get.

I just heard today that there was one Mack B model Aerialscope made and was wondering if anyone would happen to have a picture of it. I googled it but didn't come up with anything. Thanks in advance.

Yep, that's pretty much what she looks like now.

In the past two weeks, I've removed the "visors" from the headlights, the white lettering next to the "War Wagon" on the rear side compartments, the "Who Let The Dog Out!" off the back, and removed the modern Code 3 siren and put a 1963 GE Powercall in it. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />

Photos forthcoming!
