Great shots Mark! Reynolds has always had some interesting rigs including the one you've posted, very buff friendly all of times I've been there too.

Great shot! This truck was wrecked on an icy road in 2010-2011 and centered a tree. Thankfully no one was hurt but the cab was damaged so badly that a 2011 Spartan cab was re-mounted on the chassis by Anchor Richey EVS.

Thanks for the info. Was near their quarters the other day, and was in the process of shooting their station, when they came out of the rear of the businesses just east of the station. They were responding to a call. About 20 mins later, I found them back where they had been. By the way, what is the latest on the situation on Station 2? Caught Engine 2 leaving 10s while I was up there.

Thanks,

Here is Engine 2 leaving FS 10. Cruddy time of day & first time I'd been by the station.

That's a rather steep incline on the station ramp, I wonder if there's been many scrapes of the front bumper or tailboard?

Station 2 should be re-opened by the end of the month. New Station 19 however is behind schedule due to the contractor (low bidder isn't always better!) not paying the sub contractors then leaving town. From what I heard, there were 9 projects this contractor bailed on, including a new school in Greensboro. Station 19 was scheduled to be finished by October 31, now due to the setbacks it will be around April 2013. Station 19 will be located on Glenn Hi Road near Glenn High School and will eventually be a 2-piece station (engine and truck).

I have not heard of any scrapes but I guess as long as they pull out of the bay slowly it would not be a problem.

Greenboro Station 20 is 1st due to the Colonial Tank Farm, hence the need for so much foam.
