Terry, great shot. You just put another rig on my list to try to shoot when I am in DC for a weekend in early December or my next 2 week trip in late April or early May.

This unit was slated for Station 14, as the current graphics say, but was told that they didn't plan out the unit very well, and just figured out that all of the equipment won't fit to allow it to be classified as a Rescue Squad in Frederick County.
The rumor is that now it's getting all the graphics changed to say Rescue Engine 281, which is Carroll Manors other Station in Point of Rocks.
Just wanted to see if this was true, and when it will be available to see at Station 28 (if it's going there).
It is going to 28. I went to photograph it the a few weeks ago and it was at 28. They said it will be re lettered Rescue Squad 28. I hadnt heard the part about ti being a Rescue Engine....
Heard the same thing, they couldn't get everything that they have on the current rescue engine on the new unit so it is now going to Station 28,unit has 4 reels in the back compartments with 2 on each side.
I caught Fredrick County's 2009 Pierce Arrow XT TDA 100' this morning at the dealers. It will run as Truck 41 from the Citizen's truck company in Fredrick City and has job# 22025.
I probably won't get out anymore before the spring, but if you can wait that long, we can make a trip out of Frederick County with all the new rig. I got a couple contacts.
