That Champion EMS Ford looks like a Medico. They built on long wheel base stating it gave a better ride.

Austin-Travis County EMS Medic 19 2010 International/Wheeled Coach [/quote] I never noticed this before, but is that wheel chock attached inside the compartment or are two tied together and one is still in the compartment? I noticed this in the last two ATCEMS pics.
Two chocks are tied together, one left in the compartment, we tie a knot in the rope near the other chock and hang the resulting bight on a hook inside the compartment. Typically we dont have to chock both sides of a wheel as most of our driveways and hospital bays are sloped.
Acadian Ambulance San Antonio just received 5 new Dodge Sprinter/Medtec. They have our new company wide graphics with the new Central Texas logo that replaces the currently used corporate flag. These should hit the streets by the end of the month.
Had no idea MedTec was doing Sprinters. I like the logo but why are they going to these? Are they for just transports (non 911?)

We also just got a John Deere Gator and trailer the needs graphics. Also supposed to have 2 new Fraziers coming our way for the Critical Care units. Parts of the Lousiana fleet has been running these for awhile. Benefits are double the fuel mileage over type 1s and Ford vans and better city manueverability. Seems like reliability has been improved over Ford vans and type 1s.
Thanks for the reply
