Metro West's new 3354 is in. Its a Rosenbauer with a 1500 gallon water tank, 50 foam, 1500 midship single stage hale pump. Still needs logo's, equipment, and dispatch computer. Should be in service in the next week or two. In other news at Station 5 as of May 1st 3318 became 3358. This unit is a 2000 Ford F-350 with utility body and 250 gallon water tank with a Darley 120 gpm pump. Unit also served as 3328 and still has 3328 markings. 3310 the 75' midmount Sutphen will be sold. 3354 will remain a in service as a spare. It will most likely stay at House 5 and 3392 our 1999 spare 100' Sutphen ladder tower will go to House 1 and server as the spare on the East end of the district. 3392 was out at House 5 so if needed 3354 could be deadlined and 3392 could be used. Only used a few times other than serving as a spare for 3312 or 3332. 3324 is next to be replaced. This will give us 2 nice spare and most likely the current 3354 will be disposed of. 3324 committee should be started in the next year. 3327 and 3337 are on order from Osage with I believe the last 2 Chevy 4500 chassis around. Should be in by the end of the year. This will give use 4 new ambulances in the last 2 years and give us time to come up with a new chassis. I have a phone picture of 3354 taken by Steve Heidbreder at Rosenbauer. I don't know if it will work. I am on four day now and will get more pic's and post latter this week.
Now for my volunteer dept. Washington has 2 Pierce Saber Pumpers due in by the end of June. Guys are going up at the end of the month for post paint. New Chief Car 100 is getting radios and decals this week. Lights are on and should be in service by next week. We are getting ready to start specs on a Mini Pumper in the next month or two. We learned at FDIC that Ford's new F-550 can have a midship pump that is not PTO driven. PTO will still be open for generator. Sounds interesting. More to follow later on that.
3354 rear.
Speaking of Washington Toby, here are some shots I took in 1981. All are Washington Apparatus, I am unsure of numbers and other info. Sorry about the quality, I was about 14 when I took these.
And the coolest Chief's car of it's day
Here is a few shots from webster groves when I went to a guitar shop to sell some equipment. Clayton's new Sutphen!

Webster 2015 will be replaced in the next 2 years or so, from what I've heard.
3212 looks sharp. At least all Clayton apparatus matches now! (OK, except for 3203).
