West Bradford (Chester County) 1974 Ward La France (Before refurb)
psjboyz, Info I have on this rig. It has been sold - do you know to who ? Bruce 1974 Ward LaFrance Ambassador, canopy cab, 1000/800. This was the first canopy cab ordered by the company, Detroit 6V53, automatic, Wisconsin 3.5 KW generator, serial #80-1175. It was housed on 9/16/78. It was refurbed, rebodied, and repainted by LTI in 1987. It was repowered with a Cat 3116, 250 HP, in 1989. Transmission blew in early 2000, tough to get parts for. Finally taken OOS in 11/08 due to mechanical reasons.

West Bradford (Chester County ) 1969 White / Heil tanker 2250 gallons
psjboyz, Info on this rig. I actually saw this on a dealers website a couple of years ago, could not get any info on where it was in service at. Bruce 1967 White Compact/Heil, tilt cab, 400/2250, tandem axle elliptical tanker, Cummins C190 diesel, 5-speed manual transmission. This was originally a food grade tanker that hauled molassess for Chemical Leaman Tank Lines that the company purchased used at a nominal price. It was converted to the fire service in 1982-83 by company members and local companies. It was housed on 9/21/85. It was possibly sold to Hillbilly Fire Apparatus of WV in January of 1992.
