the same thing happened to FDNY x- ladder 159's 1972 mack it was cut apart at denaples auto parts in dunmore,pa the only thing that remains is the boom sitting along the road to the hole

im not ever certain about that now it's been a while since i been down to the hole.

The City of Cullman, AL has had a fire department for many, many years. This Mack would have to have gone to one of the small VFD's with a Cullman mailing address. Was the dealer involved called "Good Hope"? They are located in Cullman. I've photographed several Mack C's in Alabama over the years, recording the serial numbers on most. Do you have the number for the former Parkesburg rig?

Dave & Mike,

I do not have the serial number on the truck. I always thought it was purchased new by Parkesburg. Maybe the company in NJ ordered it, but never took delivery of it ? Most likely was purchased by Good Hope. You know how good some info comes out of organizations when you ask them a question in regards to prior apparatus. I would lucky if I get the right state most times.

1962 C85F-1250 Cinnaminson, New Jersey NJ E2022 750/500 Mack C SoldTonguearkesburg, PA

this is what I have on it. was it bought new by Parkesburg and not used from Cinnaminson?
Mike,

Cinnaminson DID have a '62 or '63 Mack C that was E-2022. They got rid of it around 1990 when they purchased a new Grumman engine.
The only MARC in 46 ENGINE!

I think it was out of service well before the Bronto was even ordered. I thought that a collector had purchased it, but sadly no. Anyone know where it served in the FDNY.
