1979 Mack CF-600, canopy cab, 100 ft rearmount Amer LaFrance steel aerial ladder, in 2-77 contract awarded to Mack for $122,613, purchased by twp.to facilitate financing-15 month delv-bids also from Pierce and Amer LaFr-Mack was low bid, bodywork subcontracted to Hamerly by Mack when being built, in 1989 4-door cab enclosure added by Micro Fire Apparatus, in 11-01 OOS, enclosed side compartmented body, large red numeral 29 on cab front, Mack 6 cyl.diesel, auto trans, 175 ft ground ladders, 6 KW Onan generator, ladder pipe, supplied air system, in 2000 main removed and refurbished, in 2004 offered for sale-asked $30,000 obo, sale by twp.sealed bid due 2-25-05-only one bid recd-from individual in TX around $8000, in 9-05 in service in Bullard (Smith Co.),TX-first aerial in community which built high rise in 2004-trailered to TX

I don't think this rig was new to them. I try asking them a few times that I've visited them but no one really knew where she came from.

I am pretty sure it is the following rig. You can see the year and tank are not a match. It looks like it has been modified at sometime (hosebed is higher) - which too me would go along with the larger tank. This is the info i have on this - from Al Powell's files. I don't think Moon Lake is a valid FC anymore - part of Pasco County now, so it might fit in. Anyway confirming the year and where they got it from ?
