I posted a former Deltaville Virginia Ladder in the Norht Carolina thread and figured I would post the Deltaville Rigs I have on the Virginia thread.



    This Rig is the Departments First Pumper. Its a Chevrolet/ Oren. Unknown year

Deltaville's Primary Engine is a Pierce Saber 1000/1000    

[ur second in]

I believe this to be their water supply type unit unsure of the specs but it is a international Pierce and I believ it carries 1250 gallons of water

I know Harrisburg,NC had a LTI Oylimpian that looked close. I'm unsure if this is the same one because I have no idea where it went when it was sold.

Looks like a 1944. If you could get back to her and look at the Oren plate on the pump panel and get the numbers, that would be a great help.

I will try to get it. I took the phot a while ago, prior to finding out the importance of the numbers etc.

Here you go folks. The ladder is a 1993 Simon-Duplex LTI 1500/500/75' ex-Harrisonburg, NC. The antique is a 1946 Chevrolet/Oren 500/500 SN 500A-986.

There is no Harrisonburg,NC just a Harrisburg. The LTI # is 9003178.

Thanks for the correction on Harrisburg. I have corrected my notes. I do believe I was told Harrisonburg when I photographed it, but then again, it could just be senility!
