Which two companies merged to create Western Berks? Do they operate out of the same station?

It was actually four departments that merged to create Western Berks. They operate out of 4 Stations still.

Pat,

From Al Powell's files:

1941 Seagrave semi-cab conv., 500/300, flat one piece windshield, in 1955 purchased from Gouglersville (Berks Co.), sold to an individual in Berks Co.

Where did you see this ?

And yes, I will need prints of all of the Western Berks rigs with there new markings on them.

Thanks,

Bruce

Hey Pat, by the way, after we split, I stopped by Wernersville and shot the engine and rescue there. I'll have to get them posted here for you.

Are they planning on the repainting of apparatus similar to what Spring Township, or will they just leave as is?

No, as of right now they don't plan on repainting any of the rigs. They want to figure out station locastions, an administrator, and possibly paid guys before they waste the money on repainting rigs.
