As they came over the beach they spread out.

Julie Clark, a retired Captain from Northwest Airlines, did a great routine in her Beechcraft T-34 Mentor trainer.
The final performers of the day were the US Navy Blue Angels. Their show started with several fly-bys of their support aircraft, Fat Albert. Fat Albert is a C-130T transport and probably one of the best looking aircraft, civilian or military.
Not the best quality picture but I still like it. After Fat Albert was done the Blues came in from the Atlantic and flew right over the beach.
Memorial Day.......we should never, ever forget the sacrifices made by those who came before us, and those who continue to sacrifice for us.
I'll wrap things up with this photo of the Blues in an echelon off the Ship 1's right wing.
The Long Island airshow looks like it was great..wish I coulda been there...
Photoshop is a dangerous toy....it allowed me to come up with this

Last from me, this is the only one that I cropped [/quote] Great shot Ed! I got pretty much the same stuff. Might add a few different pixs. We watched the Thunderbirds from a perimiter road to speed up out departure. |
