Not much on this truck... equipment was going to be mounted by department I think. The only day I could shoot it was a beautiful, Alberta spring day... <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I do remember going to Niagara Falls as a kid and staying on the Canadian side. I recall seeing an open cab Mack C going up the hill on Clifton Hill,IIRC. On the same street as the Ripley's museum. Any pics of that?
Was surprised to hear NF, On was part vollie as well.
Thanks in advance.
Stay safe, Brothers.

Niagara Falls, ON had an open can ALF ladder truck, but I don't know about any open cab Mack C's...not saying they didn't have one, I just don't know??
The actual City is protected by all F/T ff's from 3 halls,
but they have taken over a very big rural area that is all

I was 10 years old. My Dad's vollie house had 2 open cab C Model Macks so seeing that rig made it look very familiar. Was definitely an engine with an open cab. Did they have any open cab ALF engines along with the aerial?
Was 35 years ago, but thanks for the reply.

I wish they did, but I could swear it was a Mack. One can never complain about pictures of old rigs, though. Am still amazed that them old Canucks and those in the upper cold U.S. of A. used to ride these old bad boys in nasty northern weather.
Though no doubt an open cab with no doors in International Falls, Minnesota was an extremely colder ride in winter......

All of the apparatus in the Saint John Fire Department have developed company nicknames and have personalized the rigs as such. Here is the logo on Rescue 5.
