The rig's first display was at the 2010 Virginia Fallen Firefighter's Memorial, held at Richmond International Raceway on June 6, 2010.

(Background rig is a the Pierce Quantum assigned to E-204 at the Bon Air VFD in Chesterfield County).

Quote:Is there a catch to it? Yep - the Squrt's hydraulic system doesn't work. There's a lot more to the story (no, it wasn't anything the FD did), but with my dad's mechanical engineering background, we hope to have a solution by the end of the summer that will allow the aerial to extend and elevate, but probably not rotate.

Syracuse has had dozens of TeleSqurts over the years . . . I'm pretty sure I can dig up an extra factory service & parts manual if you think it might be helpful.
