Probably Allendale's 100th Anniversary parade, Rich. That rig was in it, near the end.

No wonder it looked familiar! Since it was the North Jersey VFA parade of the year, and I am the secretary of the NJVFA I was scheduled to be amongst those on the reviewing stand. I had been attending committee meetings at Allendale for the past year. But alas, 2 days before my annual cold with severe cough hit; it always comes once a year, different times and lasts for 2 to 4 weeks. I missed that parade, the fire expo in Harrisburg, Catskill muster and even my June NJVFA meeting. Just like clockwork when the 4 week mark came, the severe cough and runny nose went away.
Another point, NJ Route 17 and NY Route 17 is really one contiguous route from the New Jersey Meadowlands to the NY/PA state line near Lake Erie. Both Allendale and East Branch are on this route about 100 miles apart.

That is South Spring Valley's 1976 Mack CF that was sold to East Branch, NY in Delaware County, now privately owned. Here is a photo of it in South Spring Valley's Firehouse.
